Kopje Valley - Bottom of the Waterfall Cliff
You come to the bottom of a large cliff. Just above you is a massive promontory jutting out of the side, it sends a shadow across the waterfall. A large torrent of water comes down, creating a large 'lake' at the bottom of the cliff. Many sweet grasses grow on the edge perfect for grazing animals. As you look up the cliff face, you see a small path leading to the promontory and then stretches further along the cliff.

You can see the 'end of' a runoff stream.

Korzar blinks as his mom nuzzles him. He hadn't even considered lying to her about that… Korzar is an adventurous but not overly naughty cub. He only disobeys when he has a *really* good reason to. After his sister makes a little noise at him, Korzar decides that it's time to play. He takes a couple of running steps, and pounces towards her! He lands half-on her and half next to her, draped across his mother's paws. The cub bats playfully at one of his sister's ears.

Kasjari meeps and giggles as Korzar pounces at his sister, and his mom in the process. She chuckles and lifts her head high, looking down at the tussling play with a grin.

After last night's Crocodile Game, Kikora was understandably tuckered out! She hadn't been swimming in quite a while, and ended up wearing herself out. She rests in a sun-warmed spot not too far from Kasjari, chin resting on her little forepaws…but not for long. With all the commotion so nearby, the girl wakes up and gives a hearty yawn, looking around sleepily.

Katili gives a soft giggling squeak as her brother lands partially on her and begins to bat her ear about. she rolls onto her side and defends with both forepaws, swatting back at his muzzle and face in retaliation. Claws sheathed as she pats his forehead and face. "Grr!" She mock growls as swats are exchanged.

Korzar giggles as well, as his sister picks up the play and retaliates with a few swinging paws of her own. He squirms over until he's laying on his back, paying no attention to the fact that he's still lying on top of his mom's forepaws. He raises his paws into the air - all four of 'em - and bats out towards his sister, mostly using his forepaws, but kicking out playfully with a hindpaw occasionally. A cubbish growl builds in the back of his throat as the play progresses.

Kasjari smiles contently, just letting the cubs have their fun for the moment, though she does smile over to Kikora as she spots her stirring out of the corner of her eye.

Kikora lifts her head, watching Korzar and Katili play with cub-like fervor, her little ears turning forward curiously. "Hiii," she calls out in a curious voice, tilting her head some as the other lioness cub falls fast asleep. She stretches her forearms out, toes splaying, tiny claws peeking out from their equally small sheaths. "Kor?" This comes as a question now, wondering if he's about to fall asleep like his sister. She hopes not!

Korzar is a little disappointed as his sister drops off just as the play is really picking up. As his mom begins to look drowsy too, he climbs up off of her forepaws and makes his way over towards the other now-awake cub… Kikora! "Heya," he greets, coming to a stop, and taking a seat in front of the new girl-cub. He grins… at least someone was still awake to play with!

Kikora peers up at Korzar with a shy little grin on her face, pulling her ears back into a comfortable position. "How's Kor?" She asks, giving him a good look-over. Her fur is still disheveled and sticking up in random cowlicks, falling asleep before she had a chance to work her fur down into place. "Who's that?" She gesture toward Katili, not sure if they were ever really introduced.

If she's gazing up at Korzar, Kikora is likely to see a rather ruffled and generally scruffy cub. Oh, he's well fed and taken care of, he's just not one for grooming. Unless his mom or one of the other lionesses specifically sits him down and cleans him, he's not going to clean himself. There's way more important things he could be doing… like playing! At least he enjoys swimming, as the water washes off a lot of dust and dirt, otherwise, he would probably be much dirtier. "I good," he answers. "Sleep lots." Sleep that he needed after all the craziness of the past few days. He looks in the direction of Kikora's pointing paw. "That Kat. She my sister," he answers. He's definitely not as close to her as he is to Wingu, though. But she's still a littermate.

Kikora makes a quiet 'ohhhh' sound, looking curiously at Katili for a few moments before turning her bright, brown eyes back on Korzar. "Me too, I like sleepin'." She grins sheepishly, as if telling the boy a big secret…but she's a cat, and moreso, a -lion-, and she enjoys, well, 'lion' around. "What over there?" She asks, now looking in the direction of the valley floor. She hasn't been in that direction before, and is starting to grow rather curious. The edge of the savannah holds no interest to her — that's where her mother rests, probably picked clean by jackals and vultures by now. Such is the way of life, sad as it is. "Wanna show me?"

Kiini pads in here from the valley, looking to relax.
Kiini has arrived.

Korzar hesitates… something he would normally never do, especially with a chance to get away from all the adults and go on an 'adventure'. But with his punishment coming only a day or two ago, he's naturally not wanting anything like that to happen again. On the other paw, his dad had *only* said that he wasn't allowed to leave the valley, even with an adult… so Korzar decides he should be safe just going to another part of the valley, adult or no adult. "Okay!" he says brightly, quickly getting over his slight trepidition. "C'mon," he grins, and pads off towards the center of the valley, shooting a glance behind him to make sure Kikora was following.

Kikora hops to her paws quickly, overcome with curiosity…what treasures lay in wait just beyond the grassline, at the floor of the valley? She hops a few steps forward and then settles into a comfortable gait, little tail twitching at her hocks, face overcome with an expression of excitement!

Kopje Valley
You come down from the edge of the Valley into a large open plain. Small baobab trees dot the landscape. You can see the cliff edge looming above you, sending a shadow over your body. To the north you can see a large cliff with a waterfall flowing from it. To the west you see some beautiful plains, and there is a large and expansive savannah to the south.

You can also see a 'runoff stream'.
A fallen 'umbrella thorn' tree lies across the stream.

"The Valleeey," Korzar announces, as he leads the way. While this part of the valley is nothing special to him by now, Korzar remembers the thrill of just getting to go someplace *new*. It was always interesting. So, he grins as he looks back to Kikora. "Like?" he wonders aloud, gazing a look around at the various trees, savannah, and nearby cliff.

Kikora tries to take everything in all at once — the gnarled baobabs, the scraggly body of the fallen acacia, the stream. "Woooooow," Kikora draws out, eyes sparkling in delight and wonder. She lopes ahead of Korzar by a few steps, her ears perked and turned forward to catch the sounds that emanate from the valley's floor. "Yup, it's pretty!" She exclaims, nodding her head enthusiastically, looking back to Korzar.

Korzar and Kikora had to disconnect at this point.
